What does the archive contain?
Alexandra Palace archive contains the administrative records of the Park and Palace, detailed records relating to the 1980s redevelopment, and records and ephemera relating to events. Thanks to a digitisation project with Google, our collections also include digitised items from related repositories such as Bruce Castle, Hornsey Historical Society, and the Alexandra Palace Television Society.
Is the archive open to visitors?
We have limited capactiy for research visits but accommodate researchers where possible. If you wish to consult our archive please email archives@alexandrapalace.com to arrange an appointment. The archive is largely uncatalogued - if there is something you're interested in that isn't in the catalogue please get in touch as we may be able to help identify material relating to your research interests.

The archive is held at Alexandra Palace, Alexandra Palace Way, London, N22 7AY.
How can I travel to the Palace?
By rail - Alexandra Palace Station is located at the Wood Green entrance to the Park. A regular train
service runs direct from Moorgate, through Highbury & Islington or
from Kings Cross, changing at Finsbury Park.
By tube - Wood Green is the nearest underground station on the Piccadilly Line.

Station and go to bus stop A to pick up the W3 bus up the hill to
Alexandra Palace.
By bus - The W3 bus runs from Finsbury Park and Tottenham to Alexandra Palace Ice Rink or Alexandra Palace Palm Court.
Are there car parking facilities on site?
We have 1,200 parking spaces in the grounds, offered free of
charge. These are all on a first come first served basis and cannot be
booked in advance. Parking is split into six parking areas, with easy
access to different areas of the park and its amenities.
There are disabled access parking spaces specifically for blue badge
holders.There are dedicated accessible bays in the Grove Car park (a
short walk up a slight hill) and the East Car Park. There is a drop off
point outside the Palm Court Entrance via the west slip road where staff
will assist with directions. Spaces are available on a strictly first
come, first served basis.
Does the archive accept donations?
We welcome donations of material relating to the history of the Palace and Park. If you have material you think should be in the collections please contact us at archives@alexandrapalace.com
What other repositories have related material?
Bruce Castle Museum, Hornsey Historical Society, the V&A Theatre and Performance Collections, and London Metropolitan Archives all contain material relating to Alexandra Park and Palace.
